Mounting and cleaning are simple tasks requiring no more than a Philips-head screwdriver.
To mount the post, simply align and insert the clamping mechanism, then rotate and tighten the screw. Do not overtighten. Thread the post onto the housing.
The nesting box may be cleaned by detaching the post, releasing the clamping screw, then rotating the clamping mechanism and removing it from the house. Nesting materials and debris may be removed through the large opening in the base. You may wipe out the interior or use a hose to clean it out.
